Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
Stop believing the lie that you’re too late or that you’ve wasted too much time. I am the creator of time and I say you’re exactly where you need to be! Time is not your enemy and it’s also not your master either. Yes, you need to be in certain places at certain times and so a sense of time can be helpful but you don’t need to be controlled by it.
What if, just for one day, you didn’t move with the clock and instead simply moved with me? Yes, set an alarm for those things that are vital so you don’t miss an appointment but for everything else, what if we simply flowed from one moment to the next?
What if you didn’t look at the clock to tell you when it’s time for lunch? What if you didn’t look at the clock to decide if you would act on the thing I’m inviting you to act on? What if time became less of an issue for you? Just for one day, an experiment, something for us to explore together. What if?
And even now I can hear you wondering when would be a good time to start. What if right now is the best time to start and what if you don’t need to plan and prepare yourself first? I really do know what I’m doing and I know you. We explore these things as opportunities for you to grow – and to help the people around you grow too. It’s never just about you.
Free from the constraints of the clock, we could simply flow smoothly through the day, free of expectations and frustrations. Sounds fun, doesn’t it? You don’t know what it might look like because you’ve never tried it before but why not today? It’s as good a time as any!
