Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
As you live in the reality of me in you and you in me, why do you still suppose it’s hard to hear me? There’s a lot going on inside your spirit and that can sometimes make it seem like I’m on mute but I am right here in you. You can hear me.
Perhaps the more important conversation we need to have is around how you might still the competing voices. You have the mind of Christ. You are a new creation and I’m not going anywhere!
What if I told you that you don’t need to still the voices? Who commanded the waves? In whom do you live and breathe and have your very being? Jesus has done it all! It’s time to live out the reality of Jesus’s victory. Walk out your faith, moment by moment, with me.
What does that look like in practical terms? Put your hands on your head and declare in Jesus name that you have the mind of Christ and all thoughts must come into alignment with who you are in me. Journal with me. Make a list if you need to. When we do this together, you’re already beginning to hear me more clearly.
Your mind is fearfully and wonderfully made. You are not a mistake or an accident. I knew exactly what I was doing when I created you. Stop fighting against how I wired you and instead, let’s explore everything about you, together.
And when a distracting thought or idea pops into your mind, ask me what to do with it. All of this helps build our relationship and defeats the lie that you can’t hear me. I am in you and you in me. We are walking this journey together. You can hear me.
