Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
You have everything you need in this moment. Breathe in and breathe out. Allow my love to fill you as the air inflates your lungs. All of the things you think you need to do can wait. Yes, I realise you have deadlines and expectations to meet but the world is not going to stop spinning if you pause in this moment with me. This moment, allowing yourself to really be with me, can set you up for an incredible day.
I’m not a slot machine or a genie. This isn’t about putting in enough time and getting productivity as an output. This is simply about recognising that this moment with me is precious and it’s okay to linger here.
It’s not about spending time with me as something to check off, done for the day. I’ll be with you in every moment of today, in every task and activity. However, there is something very special about us having the very first moments of the day intentionally together.
The intentionality is for your benefit. I really am not going anywhere. I’m with you in every single moment of today – and I was in all your yesterdays and I’ll be in all your tomorrows too. I don’t need reminders or schedules or a clock to know when it’s appropriate to spend time with you. I am always spending time with you.
Intentionality is for your benefit then because it makes it easier for you to see me and hear me. Part of the way your mind is wired, those neural pathways, strengthen and are reinforced with every interaction with every and any stimuli. I’m more than a stimuli of course, I’m the one in whom you live and breathe and have your very being, but when you intentionally pause with me in this moment, connections are made. Before you know it you’ll see me in everything!
Why? Because I am in everything. I’m holding it all together. So pause in this moment, linger here a while, and allow my love to fill and empower you as we step into this day together.
