Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
It’s time to stop fighting against how I wired you, the person I created you to be, the leader I created you to be, and instead let me show you how you are perfectly and wonderfully made for such a time as this.
It is not an accident that you get excited about the things you get excited about. It’s not by chance that you’re geeky about the things you’re geeky about. You are perfectly and wonderfully made, positioned with the exact collection of gifts, passions, and enthusiasm you need for this moment.
Instead of shaking your head and despairing, what if you brought all things to me, even those things about yourself that feel to you like a foible or an error. I can redeem all things, turn all things to good. I can and I do. I’m the master redeemer!
You are a new creation. The old has gone, the new is here. Stand up and shake off your lethargy! I have done it all. It is finished! Believe me, take me at my word, and ask me how you can live today from a place of victory.
And remember that you don’t need to wage war at every corner. There will be occasions where you might feel like you’re fighting to live from a place of victory but not every battle is yours to fight.
You can smile and love on someone from a distance whilst other times I will invite you to speak up. Know this … when you speak up at my invitation, I will give you the words to say. You’re not here to persuade anyone and I have broad enough shoulders to cope with humanity’s misunderstanding of my love, my intentions.
Be you, the leader I created you to be, moment by moment intentionally with me. That’s all you really need to do. The rest will take care of itself.
