Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
There really is nothing accidental about the way your mind is wired. Your mind is my playground and when you choose to intentionally let me into what’s going on in your playground, the only result is great and wonderful things. A shift happens in your mind when you allow us to explore together what’s going on. That’s the most great and wonderful thing ever!
In the blink of an eye, everything changes with that one shift. You can go from lethargic and hopeless to motivated and ready to move mountains! That’s the power of your amazing mind, the beauty and wonder I created as I dreamed you into existence.
And as amazing as your mind is, it functions at its absolute best when you move with me. Take every thought captive and make it obey Jesus. You can’t do that without me! Why would you even try?
Together, let us welcome today with love and joy in your heart. And from there you will move and operate from the overflow in your life. What are you full of? Whatever you’re full of will spill out the very next time you’re knocked so what if we intentionally filled you with love, joy, peace and patience?
Yes, the fruit of the Spirit. Add kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control into the mix and you’ve got the makings of a delicious treat. And it’s not a pick and mix. You get everything, all of it, when you move with me today and allow me to fill you.
You are a new creation. When you said yes to my invitation you were reborn into your identity in me, the real me I created you to be all those eons ago. I saw you and knew you, saw this moment and this choice. None of it is accidental. All of it is intentional. And it’s time to stop fighting against who I created you to be!
