Today’s Holy Spirit Love Note:
Remember what I told you before … expect the unexpected! This is never more true than when it comes to exploring what’s on my heart. I have so many thoughts concerning you, so many things I would love to share with you. From my perspective, nothing is off limits. There is nothing that you can’t explore with me. Can you say the same to me or are there areas of your life that you’d prefer to keep to yourself?
Why do you guard those pieces? What do you think I’m going to do with them? Those secret places are precious to you, painful sometimes too. You are precious to me, more precious than you know, so why would you choose to keep me out of those most tender spaces?
You don’t think you do because you don’t do it consciously but it’s time to turn the light on, to be intentional and deliberate about those things you’ve been unaware of. With awareness comes the opportunity to grow and, as always, you don’t have to try and figure this out on your own. Yo never need to try and figure things out on your own. I want to help you.
I’m inviting you to explore your heart with me. Where am I currently off limits? What have you chosen to handle yourself rather than give to me? When do you have a tendency to “power through” or slip into default mode? What are the areas of your life where you feel like you don’t need me because you can manage? What are those things slipping into your awareness right now that you don’t really want to poke at?
I want to move you into my best, to help you live a life that is full to the top with my love and joy and peace. That’s why I’m inviting you to explore these things with me. But it’s an invitation, you get to choose. And when you’re ready, I am here waiting for you with arms wide open!
